Is Google Nest down? ❌

Earlier this morning, the National Weather Service had data issues when Verizon went down. We are missing some products as a result of that. We are also investigating why no forecast soundings are available for the 12Z NAM-NEST model. It's unknown if the issues are related. -GS

I avoided Alexa for years. Google Nest is rubbish and keeps glitching weekly, Apple HomePod doesn’t support Spotify for voice commands and Alexa is evil, but supports Spotify and doesn’t glitch. That’s how they get you.

Can anyone tell me why @googlenest mini’s all the sudden keep replying that a glitch has occurred and can’t even respond what day it is since Monday this week? Unplug them, reset them, nothing is working. This is getting ridiculous too bad #Siri isn’t as good or I’d switch

This is an update on the server stability issues that some of you weren't experiencing this morning. We found a nest of bees in the server room and when we tried to safely remove it, we accidently set the room on fire. This has been resolved. The bees are still there.

In light of the apparent Google Nest outage I made the mistake of trying to use the Google Home app to review camera footage. If this is what Google is offering as a replacement for the Nest app then I guess I’m going to have to fire Google.
