When i was a kid, writing my first C in 16 bit mode on a 286, any kind of memory error was met with a hard reboot. Losing my work (if i was unlucky). This gave me the reference frame why i require Rust nowadays.

Finally I have pip installed "Django-allauth" on Termux. It was challenging, checking the error messages and looking for the solutions one by one. The first error message was that the package needed "Rust", so I installed it.

Straight forward Rust error handling is possible using anyhow and string error and then using thiserror for robust pattern matching.

currently learning rust for a project I am working on at the same time building it for production due to time constraints and I i'm really impressed with the rust compiler,error handling and debugger... using "rustup --explain" is just too good😌 #rustlang

Seeing rust error message is a life changing experience

Has anyone worked through protohackers problems? Came across it today seems really fun. Series of challenges implementing network protocols. Will give me an excuse to learn Rust a little more. Although I’d probably build it in Go first to have some form of a comparison.

How about porting the entire suite of scientific computing tools into WebAssembly through Rust? Utilizing `qnorm(0.975)` in offline browsers seems like a promising approach, doesn't it? #rustlang
