Is Tesco down? ❌

Apparently my @Tesco delivery driver is 15 stops away but could be here in 9 minutes… is there a glitch in the app or the space-time continuum?

Tried to book a delivery or even shop online with Tesco earlier. First it said I was offline, I wasn't, then it keep showing error messages. Whoosh service often gets cancelled, no drivers / riders but one time waited 3 hours, mostly outside waiting for delivery, no cancel text

Certainly not going to use self service at #tesco or anywhere else, especially after seeing this. Why make you do their job for them and then treat you like this?! I’m sure there are problems with people not paying, but then why not use the original checkout system instead.

🚨In the last week there has been major IT outage payment problems at:- Tesco Sainsbury’s McDonald’s and now bakery chain Greggs has shut some of its stores due to an issue accepting payments.

Tesco, Sainsburys, Greggs, Meta (Facebook, Instagram etc) all having outages recently. Makes you wonder whether there is massive hacking of the IT systems.

So Greggs is the latest retailer to have their payments system crash after Tesco & Sainsburys. Bad software updates or hackers? if all is going online, we consumers need to know the risks. So companies should be made to report cyberattacks and outages on a public register

When these I.T systems for @Tesco @sainsburys @GreggsOfficial go down, why don't they give you free food and earn a bit of goodwill while their payments don't work? Seems insane letting all the food go to waste AND getting hate from your customers.
