Sometimes the GitHub desktop app can be really helpful!! Recently, I was cloning a large repository using CLI but it was giving me Network Error all the time... Finally, I was able to fix it by cloning it through the desktop app!!

if a library you use has a discord server and you are not in it, you're missing out. there's a good chance someone already experienced your problem creating a post in discord is a lot less demanding compared to github issues/stackoverflow question etc

Help! I updated my version of UE5.4 source from github, and while I can open a new project using this version successfully, my game project does NOT open, instead tries to compile shaders and gets stuck on "Failed to compile default material DefaultDeferredDecalMaterial!" WAT

I am getting this error while setting @nextauthjs in my application. this is happening after I select any email using Google Provider or GitHub provider this is kinda important and urgent. please help if you know how to fix this.

This issue has been resolved! I have regained access to my GitHub account again! The issue was that I forgot to turn off a crypto mining software while testing and I’m flagged for cryptomining. Thank you @ashleymcnamara for helping me <3

Is there a tool/service handling swift package updates where I could configure to only suggest an update after the release was "baked in"? I mean something like after it's been released for 2 weeks and chatgpt did not find any complains in github issues for that repo.

There's been a vulnerability that's being exploited extensively the last days, utilizing GitHub's CDN to upload any file (malware, ...) after opening an issue and making it appear as if it's hosted in that (legitimate) repo.
