It's been a year since Zelda Tears of the Kingdom was released! This game is going down as my favorite game ever made. It truly is a masterclass of game design. I look foward to the future of Zelda especially after such a breakout generation with the Nintendo Switch.

The only problem with it was Nintendo not putting the gamepad on the market separately, lots of bricked consoles because you can't get a pad without buying another whole Wii u

One of my favourite games on the switch is Pikuniku. It's short, silly, and fun. I wish devs would take more note, graphics aren't everything. It's definitely why Nintendo is the powerhouse it is and shows no signs of slowing down. They also don't give a **** about console wars.

@danielgodfrey A company like Nintendo could open a new SNES or N64 development studio and release a console with limited or no online functionality. If they really wanted to capitalize, they’d make an RPG Maker like dev game and people could sell their games through an online store.

Another issue with #XboxGamePass is that @Xbox needs to sell more consoles to increase subscriptions, which requires high quality exclusive titles like @PlayStation and @Nintendo have. It has been shown nobody uses Game Pass on PC or on cloud so Game Pass can never grow @XboxP3.

The name NES Edition for that NWC game implies they'll be one for later systems down the line. I'd actually really like one for the N64 with challenges like getting four heart pieces after first leaving Kokiri Forest in OOT. #Nintendo

Imagine a world where Microsoft bought Nintendo all those years ago. All we would get is Smash Bros, 3D Mario, and Mario Kart. Zelda would have been cancelled along time ago. Retro Studios and Next Level Games would have been shut down too.

I wouldn’t say those are comparable to the sheer damage Sony and Microsoft are doing to the industry. Especially when the emulator they DMCA’d was releasing their game early. Fan games are an issue though yeah. There needs to be some sort of way they can negotiate with Nintendo.

If the original Nintendo Switch could do 60fps with overclocking, there's zero reason the Switch 2 will have any issues doing 60fps+ with every game. There will be no excuse to continue doing 30fps games. Yet Xbox and Sony PS5 are still doing it, but a performance mode exists.

Idk about Steam but Nintendo does NOT fit any of these descriptions at all Takes down fan mode, ***** up the competitive scenes of their games, charges $70 for controllers that will die on you in a span of three months, $20 for an online service that's garbage as **** etc
