After more thought, my initial BB/Media tweet could have been much clearer. It's not about the content or role. What I find "funny" is the affiliation w/ ESPN, the network that propagandized Deflategate and revealed the BB/TB12 "issues" in '17-'18.

Anybody else buy ESPN @espn app through @amazon on FireStik? 3 hours on the phone over two days. Deleted, started over to this screen. I have confirmation I paid for it. Pain in the ****. Really weird is iPhone & iPad running it with no problems with same WiFi. Help!

I think one big issue at play is the lack of national network coverage. With cable slowly dying, MLB games need to be off TBS/ESPN/FS1 and not only be featured more on FOX, but also CBS/NBC/ABC. Plus, instead of Apple TV, it should be on a bigger subscription service as well.
