Seeing Nintendo financials the same day as Xbox shutdowns talented team is pretty eye opening. Nintendo was able to turn things around after the disastrous Wii U gen. Xbox meanwhile continues down the same destructive path it was on last gen. It’s purely terrible management.

Sony made the midnight post of listening to fan feedback & stopping an update. Nintendo made the midnight post of a window for the announcement for the next console and a Direct. Microsoft makes the early Tuesday morning post that they are shutting down successful studios.
Maybe a Hot Take: Live service games are killing the gaming industry. Hi-Fi Rush was an amazing game. Sad to see the studio go like that. Nintendo seems to have less Live service games and I don’t see them shutting down studios and canceling games constantly…

This is why Xbox is goated bc they actually tried to make their old games backwards compatible and allowed emulators on the xbox consoles but were forced to shut it down bc of whiny Nintendo.
Nintendo just says "Yeah we have successor of Switch, however we will announce next year. So, calm down. Next direct just only information of switch games, set low your expectation bar for now"
This is such a great series of games (sadly so don’t have a copy of the first game). I hope we get another Team Ninja developed sequel for the new Nintendo console when it’s out. MUA3 is an amazing game held back by technical issues on Switch.
