Is Nintendo Network down? ❌

I really wonder whether Nintendo is going to fix the glitches in NES World Championships. Like, will they patch screen wrapping and block clipping in Zelda 1, or arbitrary code execution in Mario 3? Or did they rewrite these games’ engines so aren’t really the original games?

Considering the way Nintendo is handling it, the next console is going to be a beefed up Switch, perhaps with some new bells and jingles, but mostly a continuation of what we have seen so far. Basically, it will be to the Switch, what the 3DS and Wii U were to the DS and Wii.

Nintendo actively shuts down game emulators and sues people all the time for creating things that even resemble their ****. Every Pokemon game they release is literal **** in a case and everyone still buys it. None of the companies are winning 💀

You know what's funny? Xbox could drop all their games day one on PlayStation and Nintendo, port over their older games on those and PC and that'll still not be good enough PR to fix the Hi-Fi Rush ****

Real talk - imagine, if you will, if Next-Level Games was closed down by Nintendo, despite making the highly regarded AND profitable Luigi Mansion series. That's exactly what Xbox just did to Tango Gameworks among others. I'm beyond ****** off, lol.

At this point I won't support Xbox ever again. I never did tbh, I will always be a PlayStation and Nintendo gamer. Your management needs help someone needs to be fired. You guys ******* suck, shutting studios down won't save your ***** @Xbox @XboxP3 disgraceful

It's amazing; Microsoft via Game Pass: Don't pay for our games. Nintendo: We want to sell games at the original MSRP as long as possible. Guess which is making all the monies right now. It ain't the one that just shut down their only Japanese studio and others. 👀

Ok I’m just gonna say it. Nintendo did NOT announce the Switch 2. They announced a “successor.” YouTubers are trying to clickbait you. We all knew a successor was coming. The only thing that’s “news” is that they plan to give us info within the fiscal year. Calm down.

Seeing Nintendo financials the same day as Xbox shutdowns talented team is pretty eye opening. Nintendo was able to turn things around after the disastrous Wii U gen. Xbox meanwhile continues down the same destructive path it was on last gen. It’s purely terrible management.

Or just buy a steam deck, rog ally, or legion go? Also Nintendo games just seem so watered down now. 🤔

Maybe a Hot Take: Live service games are killing the gaming industry. Hi-Fi Rush was an amazing game. Sad to see the studio go like that. Nintendo seems to have less Live service games and I don’t see them shutting down studios and canceling games constantly…

This is why Xbox is goated bc they actually tried to make their old games backwards compatible and allowed emulators on the xbox consoles but were forced to shut it down bc of whiny Nintendo.
